For those who prefer the color black, here is a pair of earrings that goes well with pretty much every clothing article you have in your wardrobe. Multi-circle abstract shape connectors studded with clear cubic zirconia melt into a bezel-set onyx drop (12x18mm) that dangles playfully as it reflects the light with every facet.

The french hook style ear wires are hand-forged in 18K gold-filled wire for the gold version and in sterling silver for the silver version and they are both hammered for added texture and strength.
Overall length of the earring is 60mm (approx. 2 3/8").
Handcrafted. An original ADORA by Simona design.
Onyx is one of the gemstones associated with the month of December and with the zodiac sign of Leo.
The name Onyx is a derivation of the Greek word 'onux', meaning "fingernail". Legend says that a sleeping Venus had her divine fingernails cut off with an arrowhead by Eros/Cupid. He left the clippings scattered on the sand below, which later turned to stone because the gods felt that no part of Venus' heavenly body should ever perish.
The Ancient Romans associated Onyx with courage and it was thought to be useful when defending oneself against criticism. It also is thought to have protective qualities, particularly when traveling. It is believed to bring about spiritual inspiration and assist with keeping emotions and passions under control. It is also believed to help the wearer to change bad habits.
